Somebody won.
Somebody broke.
Somebody in B spec won all the stages in a clean sweep..

Is that it?

Mobile app must be nice---so why isn't anybody mobile app-ing all the news?

Good action but I better not mention anything or people will cry.

somebody did good--till they stuffed.

And other big news?

I got hit by lots of rocks while roadblocking and standing too close when the various BMWs went by.

I counted nine winners among 33 finishers.
I see more about mt biking after on facebook than the rally.

The second regional had only a Hintz of RWDs in the top 10, the first regional had a RWD in the top 10 only by the skin of its teeth.

Hell of a bike ride down there... Solid 9 hours each way! Lots of cool stuff in the service park! (That stacker rig from Rocket was something to see... but definately not in my future. I'm probably going to be one of those guys who drives the car to the event.)

I heard something about a dentist pulling teeth from a gearbox.

Windshield change in the car show just before the start... nuts.

I asked around for you in the service park both days John, nobody seemed to know where you were hanging out.

i wish there was more video coverage or ra or any rally series, thought with the tech available theyd be able to splice together a whole event in smart phone footage.

Amazingly Anders predicted the winner before the rally even started.

I noticed a nice TE 630 parked near the start in Shelton. Was that you?

John doesn't rally anymore.

All the rally news has moved to Facebook because John isn't there.

John doesn't rally anymore after doing way more motorsport than others here from 1968 thru 1997

so now he does family things.

All the rally news has moved to Facebook because John isn't there.

He goes and makes parts for rallyists....

I had fun. First time out so I only went 7/10 and kept it neat and tidy. My crew was happy to have easy services since nothing broke. Need to practice driving in dust storms so I can pass more people next time out.

If you're catching people on stage, just ask to pass them in a time control. Most people are more than happy to do that.

I thought the RWD car won the 2WD national class....

I'd never blown up a trans before. It felt cruel to grab another gear and keep going. I can never un-hear those sounds. Rally is a savage sport sometimes.

No, that was a motorcycle. smoking smiley

I've got a fairly ubiquitous crotch rocket. Not a stand-out bike by any chance.
