I have to question whether he had been kept alive on a ventilator. That being the case (if...) others would not necessarily be afforded the privilege. Another thread for another day...

Personally I was disgusted with the track marshals at that event and I would be looking to sue for that. The tractor was driving around on a waved green flag just before he hit it. Very sad, very avoidable.

I googled him.

Appears to be an unfortunate fatality of an F1 driver.

Does not appear to be rally related in any way.

Pete, if you post something that's just off topic, you would do well to include some context.
