tubes? - pro, cons, suggestions.

I have heard of some true grass roots guys running inner tubes to help keeping breaking a bead from ruining the stage - especially when not using true rally wheels.

Suggestions or thoughts?

i have used them with good result, i was running steel wheels fit a pothole bent the rim enough for the tube to push through a bit but the still hold air. at service we changed the wheel and drove on, at the next service the crew had beat the wheel back into shape and then we reinstalled it on the car. i have seen folk use them with winter/snow tires too.

I'd run them with snow tires or retread rally tires like IndySport or Black Rocket for stage rally use.
