Help me convince my friend to volunteer

Already sent him NASA Rally University stuff and told him he will see the fastest rally cars on the east coast

He said he likes racing but not really watching racing...I told him he might be able to pick up some skills just by watching...

What's impressive is that this person had no special media access, he was just "a regular volunteer". So that makes it a great example of the kind of experience a volunteer has. In that sense, it's a recruiting video like no other.

If he watches it and says "Meh, all that car-racin', adventure havin', and people meetin' seems boring" then the dude may not be a great match for rally. *grin*

Grassroots rally. It's what I think about.

Instead of having him "watching" the racing, instead get him to request to work controls instead.
