I took my 245 up North last weekend and it turned 316,000 miles. The girl's 82 242Ti has 117,000 miles (it's a baby). The motor in the rallybrick came from a crashed 940T that had 72,000 miles on it and then I beat it into the ground as a bone stock race motor (overheated it so badly twice during races that the block changed color). Don't think I ever shifted that thing on stage at lower than 4500 rpm (unnecessary when I finally matched it to the right gearbox). Still no headgasket leak.

Yes, you really can drive them like you hate them. That's why they're called bricks!

Irv Gordon. Funny that you don't hear much about his 780 Bertone that Volvo gave him as a gift in 1987 for hitting the 1 mill mark with the P1800. Wonder what his insurance rates are like.

I'm in Hamilton.. I'm drinking beer right now.. I own a 68 145, 71 142 and a 59 544... unfortunately all projects as I'm getting the house in order (fucking priorities!).
