Try raid 10 if you can, not sure how much of a hog this site is. We are recording data at 8600 reads per second and storing a years worth for trending.
Fair bit of spam on the for sale and chat spots too.

RAID ten million doesn't make any difference if the host controller fails or the colo is hit by lightning. Performance isn't the issue, redundancy is, and that costs money. Rally Anarchy isn't exactly a revenue generator. I'll be improving things in May when I get back.
