rallycross and go karts def make you faster.

as far as hand technique i try to do what loeb does. practice daily driver to dolly, rig to rack

Watching video games makes you faster too.
That's why American and Canadians dominate the WRC

But Loeb could drive with one hand and some beat all the video-game heroes..

Rallycross probably is better than not driving the car but its hardly transferable to stage speeds

nope i'm going for full stage rally hero with only rallyx, karting and videogames.

John, you understand calculus right? Like limits, continuity, etc

Well I don't think anyone thinks that getting good at videuhgaymes and kiddie fun amusement electric karts (That's what I do ROFL) will instantly make us live clones, but I've been trying to get into a rally car for years. It will take more work for me to get one and when I get one I don't want to be slow. So I'm going to find similar things, get good at those, and compare and contrast, and get INFINITELY CLOSE to fast.

And plus, I'm a virgin, but I know some high school / college sluts. They get all there tricks from porn, and it seems to work out well for them.
