That is an unbelievable amount of suckage! Hope he and his co-driver were okay.

I saw that the gearbox was the "suspected" cause of the rock clip. Though I do not hold that to be the end-all truth without being in the car as it happened. Looking at the i-car footage, it looks like an everyday cut in too deep that caused the clip. However, even though I am not a fan of the attitude or media circus that is the world of Hoonigan, he can out-drive and drive circles (literally) around any member of this forum, so I would doubt Block suckage being the cause of the accident. An unfortunate mistake, maybe... but not suckage on his part.

...after a few takes...

Meh, his aggregate costs of destroyed rally machinery is likely more than I've made in my lifetime thus far. Which is egregiously bad for both of us.

That is a pretty low standard.. and a huge assumption as well.

How do you know what he could do in equal equipment?

You don't.
Nobody does.
And in what context? In a field?
1 stage?
3 day 180SS miles event on real roads (with turns)?

Not too sure myself.

Can't say much about a guy with that much experience and still can't stay within his limits, pretty sure most of us would be close to his driving level if we had so much money that we can get top notch coaching, mechanics, engineers and practice all the time instead of working like headless chickens all the time.

Agreed, agreed agreed. I don't aspire to be like him at all. Sprongl, Jon Nichols, Chris Albin (not rally but still VW). Not block. I hope he doesn't screw up the RS200 he has.

(not me, but a member of this forum. Note massive 240 and XR4Ti content. And, er, my RX-3 and ex-S40 make cameo appearances)

I believe I could out drive him, given a chance in one of his cars. So, er, gimme a chance to prove it...

OOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW we MUST respect the big hero guy because blah blah blah blah blah

Man, what the fuck is wrong with you?
I'm not even sayin' that he sucked, but you are such a mindless victim of the energy drink/youtube bullshit that you can't even conceived that he fucked up like he fucked up many times before.

Like everything you write here, this last statement suggests that you have the cognitive ability of a mollusc.

No need to speculate.

I could EAAAAAASILY beat him at whatever event this picture was taken, you know why? BECAUSE IS FUCKING CAR IS ON FIRE!

The only drivers that are currently actively driving that I respect out of sheer media blindness and hero worship are Faust, Latvala, and Ogier. And now that Latvala and Ogier are no longer in VW; I just seem to follow Ogier out of habit, and Faust out of sheer awe.

Block deserves respect but no more than any driver that has made it to that level in the sport. I'd much rather watch Tanner go at the NEFR in his RX Beetle - I think that would be insane.

Scary how fast that burst into flames watching the in-car! Glad they landed on the wheels otherwise they might not have seen the flames. I wanted to see that car at Idaho!

Vincent, and your opinion of anything matters why? You're Canadian. Your people are just existing to find and tend to the resources until the ignorant, uneducated, inbred Americans decide to nuke you and take them from you when the winds are blowing the fallout north instead of south. Know your place. Like children, Canadians should be seen and not heard.
