Your co-driver paid us. He received a complete itemized list of all expenses. Some things were even deducted from that list like the fuel bottles that you said you were not going to need but were actually needed. Yes, I too have rallied a SAAB 96 and know how much fuel it uses. I also know that there were no service stations open at that time of the evening along the service route. I paid for all 3 bottles but only expensed the one you said you wanted. I gave the other 2 away to a friend up there. You had a pick up service crew that was expected to buy all your fuel during the event, buy your food at lunch and make you hot tea with a stove that was fouled with bad gas. You were unpleasent to work with and showed no appreciation before, during or after. You are right, only one event over 2 days is a small sample to judge a person by. But it was enough.
