I hope you read the "read this first" thing with the wonderful quote taken from the increasingly appropriately named SS.com "forum feedback" section.
Now somehow that line of crap was OK, pleading to have me banned cause he doesn't like me, but I recieved a threatening email saying "I have just gotten a near hysterical email abvout you (me) using the word Nazi (in a post to a boy about his BMW plans, I called his thing a "Nazimobile" amonst dozens of very creative versions of BMW--including German versions!) and I'd hate to have to ban you but......." essentially saying I'm banned if _I_ use the word...ignoring dozens of others.
Fucking pompous co-drivers.

A different pompus co-driver/moderator sent me a note saying simply "Never use the word bitch on SS.com again. Got it?"

It was in reference to a really funny back and forth with my old friend Sean Tennis to when we worked at the same shop fixing Saabs and when we'd be bored we'd just sign out lines from the great epic movie "Airplane" where the pilot was asking the innocent blond boy things like "Say, Billy, ever seen a grown man naked?" and eventually escalting to "Say Billy, ever been in a Turkish prison?"
I asked Sean directly, "Say Sean, remember when you were in that Turkish prison? (He said when he wqas reading that out of the clear blue he did spit his coffee out) Well remember that guy who gave you his ring? Well you've sent SCCA the 20 bucks so now you're their bitch".

Innocent, sorta funny, and was grounds to be threatened by a cowardly co-driver.

And then we have Edstrom.
Frustrated that his dream of becoming a WRC co-driver will never be realised he has to become a big fish in the little rain puddle of American rallying via Moderating every fucking forum in the country.

WEell not here.
This ain't the Halls of Congress (or Parliment for youse Canajians and Poms.)
Think of it as Club meeting at the Local back home.

We ought to make drinking a few pints before posting a requirement!!!!!!!

So Hoist the maincourse! Haul in them braces, we're setting sail on the Sea of Accountency (ooops wrong movie!)

Naww, it was a guy down in Austin, asked lots of questions and seems like he really was going build a car, but suddenly disappeared.

I drug home a core/rebuilder 16v 1900 which looed VERY promising.
Good weight, short, stiff SHORT, and did i mention SHORT and with a short STIFF crankshaft which because it is SHORT and thereby much STIFFER can easily deal with +7500 stuff, and being ASHORT and STIFF and only 4 cylinders would cost 1/3 less to build compared to a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG
wambly, snaking crankshafted inlne 6. Which you could say will cost 50% MORE to buy pistons.
