Ah - I heard the dude can't drive to save his fawkin life. Scared of dirt say some...can't handle the competition and certainly can't build a car worthy of the trail...

C'mon - bring it!

I'll take one of those $99 Hans devices as long as the paint is lead free.

I'm sure there are a number of Sub-a-rats up that way what could use a lesson in real driving and car prep from a zen master. Not to mention how sweet it would be partake of the silence when mention of JVL behind the wheel at an event hit SS.

Perhaps this should remain on the down-low. Make a surprise appearance. Jaws dropping. Register as "Racer X" or something. smiling smiley

Would need SFI and/or FIA approval, and if you just ripped off the HANS, you'd be probably have a team of vicious lawyers and/or hitmen after you within minutes.

In short, I was joking. There are rumors of counterfeit HANS out there.

I still think the damn things, while not a bad idea, are a lot of coin for some carbon fiber and clips. Why can I get a skid lid that's legal for $279 (man, the one I bought was $179 10 years ago), a suit for $300, but it's $700 for the horse collar?

But to end this threadjack, I want JV running some stages!

If OR Trail had a rallymoto class I bet that Saab would be competitive in the 2 stroke class smiling smiley

It's made of cardboard. From what I've heard, they secretly market it under the FRANS name. Without furthering said threadjack, I suspect it's just as useful as the $700 horse collar when you slide into a ditch sideways at 60mph. Good thing the majority of rally accidents involve a head-on collision with a wall like in any other tarmac-weenie-approve sport. winking smiley

Hey John,
I know two fast guys who aren't using their FIA seats, belts, and collars at the next rally!

we have some connections with guys (CCCP freaks) who can fabricate cage updates.

we also have the number of the NW greatest Scrutineer.

Now YOU have to rally!

I think a JVAB entered car might be impounded by the chief scrutineer. ;-)

I'd like to be the first person to call for a JVAB factory sponsored drive by Burress in a SAAB 96 at OT. (you're welcome Tom )
