I believe that was Erik Lyden testing the impact beam behind the bumper facia.

Steve Greer wrecked on the same corner/crest. He was off to the right side of the road. Erik came flying up, lost the car a tad, then saw Greer off and had to go the other way. Or so I remember, maybe not totally factual, but close. Impreza Sport..ruined. No injuries but 2 writeoffs at the same instruction.

i didn't even know it was an impreza. I just think its an awesome image. just became my work computer's backdrop.

that's why, I'm actually not a big fan of the GC8's styling.

The image is just really striking though......not the car (obviously) but everything else. It reminds of the 9/11 images. I'm looking at it, but having trouble believing it.

Probably doesn't help that I just got home from playing poker all night and I'm a bit buzzed.

...it coulda been 3, we kinda widened that ditch a bit ourselves. Just debeaded a tire though and I consider us lucky!

Just a crazy pic. Blown up you can even pick out the pieces of fog lights, grille in the front edge of the debris cloud.
