Here's a link to the photo pages.
First thing that hit me is the "views" for all the nice old RWD cars---2 to 3 times to "views" of the modern Sububitchis and Misterburus.

Says something right there about when people with a lot more rally experience as a nation prefer to look at nice cars they can identify with at a rate 2 to 3 times more than the so-called "Top" cars.

Sorta goes to what I've been suggesting for 15 years

Here's one for Gene McColloch

Another Nissan, sideways like god intended cars to be driven:

A study of the stage times shows the "classic cars mixing in the Top 10 stage times.
If a Sububitchy or Misterburu can't even beat a 30 year old car, why spend the money?

I've been bitten by the rwd rally bug and have a lot of interest in these older small cars. However, I am a big guy 6-3+ over 250 and I notice that a normal sized winged seat touches at the wings which means I would be rubbing shoulders with the driver/co-driver (depending on which seat I'm in at the time). What's a big guy to do?

No, unfortunately not. Finals schedule resulted in a final on Friday and Mark has to testify for an attempted murder case from a shooting he saw leaving my house a couple years ago the following week. Oh, and he has to work on Saturday now too.

Ha Ha, been there done that. Although it is a fun platform, but too heavy and slow from a stand still and in the straights. I guess I could modify the automatic transmission for quicker pick up and shifting...but then there is the aesthetic and nothing can help that.

I would think, from my experience with 240 series Volvos (DD for years), that with the right seat mounts, you would have no problem fitting into one.

I'm waiting to see a early 70's Lincoln Continental MarkXXX.

Hmm... I wonder if you can get FIA-approved bench seats?
