Shipping Gearbox Greyhound has 100# limit

As far as I can tell greyhound has a 100 lb limit.

Think they'll actually weigh it? or notice that it weighs 175 lbs? almost double the weight.

Its a 2 hour ride to the closest greyhound station for my buddy Joe.

So... I kinda hope they won't actually weigh it. But you're right it is cheap. 90 bucks to get it here, but it has to be less than 100#.

So the last two options I see are cheat greyhound or remove 25 lbs from the tranny.
2 axle stubs/bracket/ don't know what else.

Every Greyhound station that I've ever used to ship anything has had a scale right there, built into the counter. Weight and shipping go hand in hand. They will weigh it, it's what they do. YMMV, but only if you're really lucky.

Dude I can send you a fedex ground shipping label. Give me the zip codes to and from and I'll tell you how much it will be. Normally it costs me 80 bux from Mass to Cali for a 110# Honda tranny.

Right on. The only hitch is the gearbox weighs 175 and fed ex limit is 150.

This won't be a problem?

Cosworth it's looking like

Thing weighs 175#, I guess enter it as 149# and see if we can get away with it.

Here's what I can do, I can send you the label at 150# and see if it flyes. If it doesnt they dont charge so no harm no foul. Normally they dont weigh items if its already entered in the label.
