In the Springs you have the following...

Mark Misegadis (building again)
Bob Campbell (still building)
Jason Waples (status unknown)
Todd Moberly (status unknown)
Jimmy Keeney (running USRC)
Jeff Regester (running random events/USRC)
The Conley Clan (three current cars, one more wrecked, one more that is really old and slow)
Brant Ford (not running anything right now?)

The Springs crowd isn't that socially active from what I can tell, although, if you want to look at race cars and make small talk you might try dropping by Revolutions Performance or Wreckmasters body shop.

You are decently located for all of the hill climb events though...

that is my plan. i know the conley car went off road at the PPIHC this year. I am hoping to get into the hillclimb season next year, and pit for a friend for the PPIHC 2009, then maybe run in 2010. But getting some local connections would be great.

???

Checkpoint Racing/Salta Motorsports share a 7000 sq ft shop with a 10000 sq ft. yard in Denver. Probably largest stock of rally specific parts and rally cars in the US. There's upwards of 10-15 cars there at times.

Whooo hooo there's a big assumption.

How did that one time wonder VP Quayle put it?

Watch out they'll force you to drink beer and smoke ciggies and vconvert you to RWD!!!

Technically, most of the Colorado crowd would either have you in a Golf or an Impreza.
Ryan Oerter owns a shop somewhere down there and has a few RX7 race and rally cars of varying generations. One hill climb car that had a Ford 2.3 turbo with around 450 whp.
