What a bunch of cunts!
Yet another reason to hate the police. May Anarchy rule.

It was a very enlightening video though. I guess I'll never drive my Subaru on the street when it's eventually done. Will be an interesting scenario when a SRTUSA driver gets stopped on the street and SOA get an order to make the rally cars street legal (just using this as an example but this is likely to happen to with any rally cars - but Subaru will have more resources to fight it than yer average Joe.) How will that work when everyone is late to a Time Control because some arsehole cop stops every rally car heading to the ATC.

Also interesting to see a "Hook Ups Import Tek" sticker on the back of that car.
Their shop is next door to mine and they basically make a living by making legal cars illegal - like most tuner shops. Nobody gives a shit, well occasionally when they hammer their cars up the street fresh off the dyno.

True story about CHP,

02 RIM, I am codriving for John Nelson, other than losing our lights Friday night no problems, I think we were on the way to either Liebre Mountain or Maxwell, whichever one was the stage after the transit that goes by the asshole noise police guy who complains a lot and then goes through the 'Unmaintained Highway' with chunks of macadam missing.

We are confortable with our position with aspirations of winning PGT. We have like 29 minutes for 8 miles. All of a sudden rigt after we go through the Quiet Zone at like 15mph, tippytoeing, we get pulled over by CPH. He is taking his time to get out of his car, like 4 minutes later he comes up to us and starts giving us shit about the 2 Hella lights mounted to our bumper, then he stops everybody that is following us and won't let anybody go. Reason, Aux Lights with NO COVERS. We are rallying and it's fucking dark you asshole! We must have lost like 15 minutes there. He finally let us go after some not so pleasant words were exchanged. Those who know the road know well that there is no way you can average 60 mph on the last section of that transit after the left hairpin up.

We made it in our minute, I don't know how, John must have switched on the Quantum Generator, we were all pissed, so pissed that we ended up winning PGT.

That was probably the same cocksucker who had all the cars towed from the side of the road the year it poured with rain at Rim - leaving many folks in the middle of nowhere with no cell service in the freezing wet, some with kids.

I got back to the road from the stage to see the tow-truck lifting my car onto the hauler. I managed to get it released for $100 at the side of the road - and I was a lucky one.

Like I said, bunch o' cunts - although I have found CHP to be less cunty than LAPD.

Duude, the irony of it is that we were on an UNMAINTAINED HIGHWAY, what the fuck was that cocksucker doing there, on a stretch of road so rarely used that even rally cars were having difficulty keeping their suspenders together. I think he was sellectively targetting rallyists. Rainy RIM was the year after, I heard about spectator cars getting towed but we had other problems in the EVO that night like NO FUCKING CLUTCH so we didn't pay attention. It sucked bumpstarting each stage with the starter button and if we didn't have a proper Gemini dogbox we'd be properly fuckered in that rain and mud.

Julian recently sold the car to somebody in CA and I heard the guy managed to put a nice size dent on the front bumper. That car is a top notch winning car in the hands of a good driver.

Duuude in Mexifornia they are tagetting cars that are not bone ass stock and hey are labeling everybody a 'Street Racer' even for a high exhaust note or wheels or hoodscoops or whatever. This is how they are training their piglets, this is an official training video.

It's not the lack of high speed John. I'm on one of the fastest internet connection out there and can't watch it. It's that lame ass YouTube site. I've never been able to watch anything on there.

Well now I see its down due to "copyright infringement"
But I get the gist of it.

I always thought that most Californicators were begging for somebody to take a firm hand with them, strong leader/Fuhrer type.

The fact that pig-in-training don't object to this themselves, that that don't say to the Instructors, "Wait, this is a violation of people's right and is groundless" (and then pull out their pistols and drill the instructors in the forehead) shows the very concept of respect for the law is absent.

There was a BIG scandal here in the county around Seatttle about rogue Sherriff intimadating trainees, telling them "you see somebody, ANYBODY not in nice clothes, or older cars, just pull them right over---you'll find something, then ASK to search their car..." In essence telling trainees to use nothing but intimidation and meanace to "obtain consent " to go on fishing expeditions.

To their credit, up here away from Gooose-stepping Kal-forlorn-ia, there were enough trainees that raised objections (and promptly were given Unsatifactory ratings and drummed out----too bad several were from cop families and KNEW they were doing the right thing. Lawsuits, firings , resignations, BIG SCANDAL.

The worst part of the county? (regarding out of control Pigs)
Right here where I live.
South west.
