Jens Larsen and Pete Morris

Has anyone met either one of these two guys in real life ?

Are they different in real life from how they appear in the "off topic" section of SS.com ?

I have met Pete Morris and found him to be friendly and polite.
My understanding is that Jens is much the same.
It is amazing how so many of us turn into monsters behind our keyboards.

Jens is also a decent guy in person. Met him at a TSD many years ago, and bought some gravel tires from him.

Now JV, he's the same raving loony in person AND on the net! =)

I know Pete, I am his official nightmare. I love pushing his buttons whenever I see him. He is a fine old fart, always willing to help the organisers, even if it means he has to drive a water tanker, I have pictures to prove it. I think that was the most he drove on a rally stage in the last 10 years or so.

My life long goal is to put him and JVL in the same car, preferably a LADA or ZIL and broadcast direct from their intercoms. I wonder if we would have to use extra padding inside the car, all over the interior, just to be on the safe side.

As far as Jens is concerned, I never met him. He reminds me of the grumpy and drunk brother-in-law you hate but can't get rid of.

Interesting that a bunch of internet rats form opinions of people without meeting them.

its usually easy to form a negative opinion of someone based on discussion with them on the internet without actually meeting them in person. Especially in your case.
