Burning avi to DVDs
March 27, 2006 12:37PM
So I now have the first 4 WRC events downloaded onto my PC (and some out onto VCD). I have enough to fill 1 DVD (each episode is about 255MB, times 16 gives me 4.08Gcool smiley but the software I have will not convert the avi to DVD.

What do you computer-type boffins recommend?

Roxio 8.0 looks like it is leading the way at the moment for ease of use (from what I've heard anyway) We have CloneDVD on the puter at work but it won't do it. We also have Nero but that seems like it won't either.

Thanks.

I asked this same question after Monte or Sweden. I think in Off-topic but the responses are there. I don't remember what was recommended but it works and I use it.

Roxio. And I think I know someone with a pirated version that could probably email it to you if you need it.

Anyone know of anyone who might be making DVD's and selling them for the cost of meterials only... otherwise it would be illegal, wouldn't it :-)

Actually, if I sold them for just the cost to make, it'd be around $60-70. It takes a long time to burn the disc, and my time isn't cheap. smiling smiley

But I'm too lazy to make even one more than is needed for our rally parties. I don't even have a TV, much less a DVD player.
