cycles at Olympus

Hey all,

I'm trying this again. The last post disappeared somewhere.

I'm trying to find out if the cycle "Rally Raid" class is still a go for Olympus? No-one at NASA orthe Olympus Org. has answered my e-mails and there has been no posting at ADVrider (where this was announced). Since it's only acouple weeks away I assume it's been canceled.

Anyway, any info would be appreciated.

I believe that the announcement was on the NASA forums. Yes, the Rallymoto portion of the event was cut. I believe that the reason was just needing more lead time to finalize rules and procedures. Other NRS events are still "allowed" to consider accepting bikes. I'm considering it for my event next year.

Thanks for a prompt reply, now I can get on with my life. I was geared up to run this event and was getting frustrated.

I did not see it at the NASA site. This was announced on ADVrider and should have been followed up.

Any way...as an old Olympus competitor, it would have been cool to run it on a cycle. I'm to old to be competitive, but could have had some giggles.

Will a cycle event happen this year?
