Those I know of are:
"Haulin' Colin" McCleery in Michocan
Matt "Mothra" Smith in North Carolina

at the point of water and intercooler plumbing, and diffs and sump guard beeing mounted are
"Seattle Scott" Koch
"Spokane Scott" Manley
"BC Boy" Skye Poier
Grant "Nazi Scooter Nuns can't touch me" Hughes in Colorado
Paddy McViegh in Peoples Republic of Lower East Canuckleheadistan

a little more left to do:
Andrew "Fiasco" Steere on Lyndeborough, Nude Hampster

New boy just ordered suspension and is out searching for Supra diff:
"Dusty" Dustin Melton from Knoxville, TN.

And if I have a moment I can finish re-assembling my car and install.

There are also a few Cosworth Escorts and Sapphires lurking.

Why do ya ask.......???

Just Curious. That and I am in San Diego preparing to move my driver back to Moscow on the Mississippi next week, and were having a(n) discussion (argument) between feasability of rallying an old foxbody mustang vs an Xrat.

Personally, I like the way the ratty looks but thats just me....

Well they are both ugly as sin......
The Fairmont Fox thing has been raced by the roundy-pound guys FOREVER.
X-Rattys have been rallycars since the Sierra was introduced.

The Mooose-angst has good numbers on paper...100.5" wheelbase ain't bad but every owners readily conced the cars are really flimsey and the suspension pounds it self to death in 1 weekend of playing roadracing .

BOTH need lots of reinforcing to really last, but with an Xratty, you do some brakes and strengthening and junl'n'stuff, and you know the car was proven in the WRC and you can buy suspension virtually indentical to that.

And unlike the Toyota All-Tracs, and the GTXs, the Le-gassys, The Xratty was proven good, into top 10, as Grope N car. Lancia and Gaylant were also good GpN cars.

The Sierra was also proven good in both 2wd RWD form and 4x4 form, aagin both GpA and N.
No other top WRC car or even shitty WRC car can say that.

The Moose-angst, you're just hoping these whatever you got stuff will fell kinda OK maybe, you hope.

I had a hatched 89 mustang and the unibody was easily the worst of any solid unrusted car I've ever been in. Driving it on rough roads at LOW speeds you could notice the dashboard going in the opposite direction of the back half of the car.
