Looking for gravel tires but don't know the correct size/type that will work with 15x6 SAAB 9000 wheels. Thanks.

Certain manufacturer's numbering schemes make more sense than others. Do you have a particular brand in mind?

I have 9000 wheels on my street car and they have 205/60 x 15 and they have caught the lip sebveral times and carved a bit on the outside of the tread area.

Hey since you're new and since you've been naughty, we don't know nothin about you, so do us a favor and fill in the rest of the details in your signature like where you are, your real name, etc etc, we're bit different on this board and think that knowing who we're talking to makes us less stupid than when all you know about somebody is some made up name.

What's your plans with the XR?
Gonna just thrash around in the woods or build a real car ?
Are you familiar with the nubering systems typically on the tires what each number means?

Hey John,

In the end, it's about the fun, but I do want to build a car to race. Can't just sit still in between events though(providing I've not rolled it 17 times). Gotta be at least half serious buying your suspension anyway. I will probably take your advice and put a cage in a banger first to race because I've not wrecked myself, YET! I know its coming. Your other question about tires, I know street tire #'s but these numbers confused me 15/64? Lookin' forward to seeing your work.

Since we're dying in the heat wave here (48'C with the humidex is just shy of 120F..this is Canada ferchristsakes), I de-lipped my fenders this morning. Actually worked out OK, just be sure to use a heat gun if you care about your paint (I don't).

Snipped and flattened:

Fitted up quickly to see how we're doing:

Rally tires use a different nomenclature than streets which actually makes things a bit easier. Ex:

16/64-15

Is 16cm tread width, 64cm outer diameter, 15" wheel. No aspect ratio/max width crap.
