While we are on the subject..... Would there be any interest in putting together a similar car on the east coast?

Great idea!! I would love to see this come to be, I am willing to throw some cash at the PNW car.

Matt, I would be down to help with an east coast car.

Cheers,
Andrew

Wagons allow you to bring all tools and spares in the car with you.

John, just think of the practicality of the wagoooon! Wagon+small trail=great idea! You could even carry spares for everyone else on stage too. It would be a real community car then. Think of it like a Dakar support truck, but with 800 less hp, not Russian, and only 2wd.

I have a 1987 240 wagon sitting here... Already has a Corbeau driver's seat and rally tires on it.

I'd be down for contributing a little cash and some time (although you probably don't want me doing anything too technical). I might have some rally bits that could be useful, depending on what is needed.

I'd like to try driving an event some time.

Ben B

PS: I like the Volvo choice, a wagon could be fun.
