I already forwarded the guy that link.
Good to see great minds thinking alike to brink joy to the world.

Additionally:

There's a guy who is having trouble signing up here in fawkin Bawstin, but who isn't a Masshole, he's Pork-and-cheese who wants a Sierra shell to get started going, but he wants RUST FREE, what do you have stashed Andrew?

My stash:

88 XR4 black street car, putting in engine with decent compression soon, so maybe I can drive it...I've put maybe 500 miles on it on the past three years. Not for sale.

86 XR4 "rally shell" with cage that needs re-do, and everything else. It rolls on its front wheels, drags on an uassembled rear suspension. I've been debating selling it...unless I magically stumble into $10-15k I don't need to pay mortgage/payment on Outback/health insurance if I quit my job to take care of my son. But that's another thread.

87 XR4 shell. Red with sunroof, last I looked it's less rusty than 90% of them up this way. It's a bare shell that sort of rolls. Grabbed it as the "spare shell" when I thought I could afford to rally. That one is stashed at my parents' house, where my dad alternately threatens to tow it away or turn it into a C-Prepared autocross car, whatever the hell that is. I've also considered just throwing it together quick to make a rallycross/beater/Grassroots Motorsports $2007 Challenge car just so see how much boost my 173k mile 88 motor will take before it blows.

Then I have the 03 Subrat Legacy wagon I use to get to work and the 04 Outback Legacy that my wife hauls baby and dog around in. But those are the everyday cars.

April 05, 2007 08:34AM
I have an extra xr4ti sitting and waiting to become a rally car. It is currently stored in Raleigh, NC. It is a complete car (slightly taken apart) I have borrowed a few drivetrain parts. Make me an offer!

It shows no signs of rust but I have not taken any of the cladding off. It is a roller right now. I think it is missing a turbo, rear differential, and T9 transmission. No title at the moment but I can get one if needed.

I got it for parts but it has a good shell so iahve been reluctant to strip it and scrap the remains. But it will happen soon.

Here's a few pictures of the interior, sorry its taken me so long to reply, I've been too busy. But I'll have more pictures of the rest of the car soon. The interior was taken out to do a little auto crossing with the car, so its completely stripped.

I'm not really looking for a certain price of anything, I'm just trying to get a new project, and I can be reached at 919-422-6595, but its best to email me. I work too much to answer my phone.
