Dude, nothing wrong with the Golf, they're good cars, and you can find them cheap.

And remember, the Voice of Experience Peter Barnes has just proclaimed rwd cars are "old has been cars".

Watcher doing this weekend?
I'm doing some oil lines, you should come over and learn how to make them up.

Greg,

I'm right there with you. The Mk2 just looks perfect to me crossed up, or catching air. I prefer the styling of older cars anyway, esp the tin tops. I"m going to go drool over the pics some more. Good luck in getting one!

well, that sounds exactly like what i want. sadly, i have not been in a position to start saving money for a toy of this magnitude untill very recently. in other words, i aint got the dough now.

i have been reading norm murdock's (Team Blitz) capri thread over on SS
and checked out his site. there is indeed a lot of stuff there.

this thread was more or less created to give me a dose of reality and find out just what i would need to scrape together to get an escort. and it seems that an escort just isnt a realistic option for me at this point in my life. however, a capri may possible if i really scrounge and sell some crap i dont need anymore.

anybody wanna buy some comic books?
