With a few additions to the cage and chopping out some of the tubes that are in the way or go nowhere and do nothing, and finishing of the stichwelding while its all spotless clean this could be a POTENTIALLY a good starter car.
The original owner was some hot-shot computer guy who had BIG PLANS, and got a newish box van, got it all kitted out and a fancy paint job and logo and came by here to talk cage install and left a deposit on suspension just when I was beginning to make the stuff and it was not yet all done.
I was having troubles with delivery of the cages like in John Lane's Volvo which I got out of Sweden so I suggested he talk to Dave La Tourette because of frustrating delays from a friend who is always way WAY too late on stuff.
When the suspension stuff was comoing back from the cad plate and anodizing I call the bank to check if there's funds to cover the check since it had been a couple of months.
No Funds.

I call Dave and he says hasn't heard a peep.
Three years later he gets a call "You wanna keep the trailer to make up for the big bill?"
Dave talked to me about suspenssion to finsih it buy he's always been in the middle of a thousand Baja Bug, VW, turbo, laser cut etc etc projects.
A little work and brakes and suspension and some plumbing and GLASS and this would be an OK car.
NOW is the time to chop out the rear C pillar and make it one side window like GOD INTENDED!
Oh yeah, I sold him my own fuel cell and so it has fuel return and pre-pump fittings already insatlled.
