But of course as has been so amply explained so many times, all this is meaningless because its not here. Gravel is different..Or something.

Lotta little shitbox FWD cars going real well here too..but it sounds like they have real short gearing and real close ratios---so I guess that "doesn't count"...

One Volvo in some class was close to the fast FWD cars, likely one of "those" drivers. Looks like the rest were 1 to 3 minutes back or DNF. Fiesta R2 and Honda looking pretty good.

sorry, but all the corollas I saw in the video (including #19 who was 9th OA) were this bodystyle:

which came as FWD - I dunno if they're allowed to convert the drivetrain in SWE, but the way the orange one was dog-legging around, I'd guess they're still FWD.

Looking at the wrong country. Look at the Finnish Group F results to see which finish (heh) first.

Yeah,if anything the 2wd results are a ringing endorsement of FWD.

You know all you silly boys trying to troll, as usual the desire to troll trumps youse guys otherwise good brains...
Now I know you're all experts af what's happening on the Swedish scene for the last 25-30 years, so it must have just slipped you minds what these ex-official Toyota Sweden Corollas chock full of the remains of Lief Asterhags basically WRC level World rally car Corollas cost...

Troll-la-la boys you miss the point. Sure a WRC level--$100,000 FWD with a good driver can go pretty damn good. But so can a $70K Fiesta....

But aside from your trolling efforts to "prove" whatever, nobody here is saying anything is "bad" with well done FWD..
Just that ALL THE PARTS ARE UNIQUE and COST A LOT MORE--2 or 3 or 5 times as much part for part new, and hopeless to find second hand..

For a car marginally, fractions of a second on average, faster than what people here could put together...for a fuck of a lot less money...

Troll away boys.

All in good fun John.....

I KNOW it's driver over drivetrain configuration......it's just sometimes the "RWD is better" get's so thick around here-someone has to stick up for wrong wheel drive!
