new england forest rally black out?

No news is still good news?
Very little info (what is has been pretty slow too) coming out of the RA Propaganda channel.
What happened to SS7?
Am I wrong to believe RA hasn't had a full rally distance in a year?
I figure this is the place to find out all the Dirt (copyright)

No news means one of two things:

Either a Subaru won it (in which case there is no news), or...

Subaru did not win it (in which case the powers that be don't
want to embarrass the manufacturer that purchased U.S. rally).

Either way I couldn't care less anymore.

Maybe some mother pushing a baby carriage across a stage was hit by a Subaru. Maybe not.

Either way.... I don't care anymore.

Rally is dead! They killed it and turned it into stadium racing.

Maybe it was two nuns pusing baby carriages with twins--their twins!

The complete lack of news is strange.
Seems they need some time to put some sort of story together.

They sure have shown themselves to be a really rather amaturish organisation, for one that wants to present a front of "professionalism".
And THEIR GODDAM RESULTS STILL SUCK BIG TIME.
NO STAGE BY STAGE ACCUMULATIVE, NO SEPARATE PENALTIES, NO DNF REASONS.

AND THAT HAS BEEN POINTED OUT 3-4 TIMES BY ME ALONE.

Interesting that Randy speculates that RA has not run a full rally this year. Iwonder if there is truth to that?

Approximately 1 minute of research would show that 100 Acre Wood, Oregon Trail, and The Olympus Rally ran all the stages.

Sorry Peter, I can't do it that fast.
It took me over 2 minutes to check just one rally.
I just remember a lot of big delays and cancellations lately.
I was hoping Maine would be whole (even if the best roads were lost).

Besides, what's the point of "rally anarchy" if wild conspiracy theories are debunked so quickly?

Because it is Sunday night and still everyone is quiet about Maine. Perhaps they are burying the bodies in the dark.

from NASIOC:

(Christian is quoted) "If the box gets punted, the box gets punted. TV pays (some of) the bills. TV is good. Travis better not have lifted for the orange Pelican case!"

(MFR Sweep says):
I still want to see the in Car from SS7. Did he lift then?

I have the plate # BTW

Thanks for looking into that for me so I didn't have to spend the minute looking it up.

Some info finally coming to light...

http://www.specialstage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27904

Looks like two different deals.

Both self-inflicted - not outsiders, just short-attention-span-itus.

but that's just the "dreaded" speculation.

One way to cure that!

Wait, there's two ways - have the real news given (the EZ way).

Or speculate, ala Jens, and have the truth come out as a way to dispel the myth.
(I think that's the hard way).

Let me start...
A Subaru WRX kid saw the opening car and since he was high on Snapple and Red Monster, thought it was Sweep so he believed he could run the stage himself and went straight into our #1 rally hero's path.

Let the dispute begin!

Matt:

So much for the snappy comeback. I agree with JVL regarding your status. Oh, and:

So from what I can tell, we've got: (1) a local that got pissed off and entered the stage; and (2) an accident between sweep vehicles on stage.

Is that correct?
