Hans devices are now available without anchor kits and even without tethers! This is something we have been asking for for a quite a while. Because some new helmets and most existing helmets have anchors already installed. Plus, RMA is adding the option for you to get longer or shorter tethers when you order a device. This keeps you from having to pay for two for tethers when you only need one.

just got my G79 today! thanks again!

regarding mounts though, how do i get the safety solutions mounts on the Hans equipped G79? the backer seems glued in and the bolts are different size.

If this is a straight advertisement selling product, maybe it might better fit in For Sale section? May same for BRAID with the photos that jam up the whole internet, maybe?

I'm not real familiar with Safety Solutions mounting points or bolt sizes. If I am not mistaken, they go in the same location as the Hans posts. So you will have to remove the Hans nut inside the helmet shell (I doubt it's glued) and replace it with the Safety Solutions nut. If the Safety Solutions mounting positions are in a different location, then you are going to have to drill new holes and insert new nuts. Then you can remove or leave the Hans posts.
Maybe you could call the manufacturer of the Safety Solutions device and ask what to do as a lot of helmets come with Hans nuts preinstalled now a days.

Pretty sure the Hybrid ones mount more to the side of the helmet, not in the same location as the monopolistic brand that will save your life but break your back.

so i called simpson. Turns out.

1. They own HANs AND Safety Solutions.

2. It is glued.

3. They sell a 32 dollar thing to adapt the hybrid clips to HAN's anchors.

4. They can use the same anchor location.
