Another Big White Winter Rally is in the books and I think at least a couple of people enjoyed themselves.

It is always great to get together with the rally crowd and we had nearly 30% of the entries come from south of the border.

BUT, having many people who've met us both say they thought that John and I would not only get along but probably get along really well, I'm prepared to push the "reset" button on this whole thing and see if we can't all play nice.

Yes.
(In the context of being the Clerk of the Course for Big White...)
Thanks, again, for coming and helping out with the sweep duties!

Glad to hear you had fun.
Got to meet a handful of other 'names' in real life and without exception it was a pleasure.

Thanks Derek.

The more I sit back and look at this forum the more disconnected from 'my' rally world it seems.

That's OK though. 'My' rally world is filled with happy, smiley, competitors and volunteers - for the most part - who come together to have fun out in the forests. It's a great place to be, actually.

I've been getting lots of thanks from people who were at Big White and I almost feel guilty about it. Both because it was more than just me that made the event happen and because watching an event unfold where people are enjoying themselves brings its own sort of pleasure.

In general RA has become disconnected from reality.
