Rally Survey
January 08, 2014 12:18AM
I am conducting a short (10 question) survey to develop demographic information which could help "sell" performance rallies to sponsors and/or identify sources for future rallyists. The survey is anonymous; no names or email addresses will be collected. The survey should take about 5 minutes. A summary of the results will be shared with rally organizers and potential sponsors. Please follow this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3BL8QFG

Thanks

Jim, you need to discriminate when thinking about motorcycles..
My only interests in bikes was spending LOTs of time in the woods----with a 10 year side trip doing moto-cross---which really is/was stylized cross country in a more compact form.

Zero interest in roadracing or dirt circle track or really even euro Speedway.

Strong antipathy towards 'street' and chopper and "touring" type motorcyclists.

Now with the advent some years ago of "dual-sport'---no interest...

I have suggested for years that the closest motorcyclists to what we do are enduro guys. Very similar vibe and mentality. problem is that they are well organised, and used to very minimal expenses, mere tiny % of rally costs.
Like 1/10 to 1/20 the entry fee.
Or a $1500 bike being suited perfectly for doing a competitive job.

So that's a problem to convince them that doing 1/2 the miles they do for 20 times the cost is a hard sell.

similar to JV comment. I would split your "motorcycle" into at least 2 groups. Road and offroad/dualsport
