Powered by 2.8L Pinto motor, 300 hp, Atlas rear with 5.8 final drive.

Videos like this make me excited for good gearing.

Gearing is every thing in rally..So is hook ... But big motors and driving shoes seem to come first to alot of racers..

Cool Video..I would think 300 HP would help too..LOL..I wonder what trans the cars running..It realy moves forword off a turn..

My 71 Capri has a Kent motor and 422 gears that came stock..(JV your right it is some sort of 420 gears in it ..NOT 390..) And its faster then it should be ..65-70 mph is max top end "I" will run the old girl do to the 4 speed trans in it... But it sure upsets guys in there new sports car. winking smiley..

Start at the gearing and last at the motor is how I do it..
