I'm curious as to what you guys feel is your :

"Favorite Rally Car of All Time".

Let's divide divide it into 2 catagories, Group B and Non Group B.

Is it still on blocks ?

Well, I've only had one so far, so it's gotta be the 84 Colt GTS. Too much power, too short of wheelbase. 180 hp at wheels FWD turbo, super lightweight, 55/45 weight balance, torque steer monster, started "swaying" on tarmac over about 65, really scary over dirt at 70, welded diff, funnest tarmac track car I've driven(nothing like passing new M3s with a 84 piece), and did I mention the 89.1" wheelbase?

Actually, I did drive the Audi at a hill climb for one run in the mechanic's race. It was more fun because it just had so much power. Just turn in and punch it and the thing just drifted and pulled through the corners. With real diffs, that car would be unstoppable.

No, three catagories: 3rd being "Rally cars I know nothing at all about and have never ever even seen except in books and the Inter-net---Fount of All Knowledge,

Favourite, I rallied in is the GrB Quattro.
One I wish I have had a chance to raly in once Lancia Delta S4.

Favourite GrA I rallied in is the Deltona Integrale, I liked it better than the Celica GT4.

I don't think there is a favourite GrA I wish I had a chance to rally in.

Rallies are no place for traitors

Well I fucked this question up royally didn't I ???

I hadn't intended it as being a car that you had actually driven.

Let me fix the question :

1.) Favorite car you've rallied
2.) Favorite rally car you'd pound your pud dreaming about
3.) Favorite Group B car you'd give your left nut to drive

1) the Golf in my drive way. It is just silly.
2&3) The Quattro that Mikola brought over for the 1985 Olympus. Wings for Africa, Spititng Flame, Making unholy noise and going very very fast. At one point Mikola hit the traps at 122MPH, buffum made 112 in a normal Quattro, every one else was under 95 at that place on the stage.

30 MPH faster in a short straight, think about that.
