Anyone know when the manufacturers release all the infon 2010 models, or when they hit the showrooms?

Something wrong with the 08 or 09 models that makes them just not up to snuff?

Man, the 09 Kawasaki KL250 something-or-other is nearly five grand.

This is more my speed budget-wise:

http://www.cyclechaos.com/wiki/Kawasaki_F7

It's what I probably have the most riding miles on (and that's less than I have snowmobiling miles, which ain't a lot).

I ride something like that and I'd be the fouling the saddle.

Something like this is just about perfect for playing:

When I wanted to just play, no KTM or Husky 430 for me. Simple KDX200.
And i could ride it just as quick and just as far--typically about 130-140 miles of trails on a good summer day.

Grant don't need no 09 fuckin 4 stroke!

Fuel injected possibly is more what I was interested in.
I'm a poor boy with a fixed amount of cash coming in. I'm all about the financing.

And anyone that tells me carbs are better is welcome to that opinion. I remember some friends that seemed to always be rejetting their bikes depending upon what ride they were doing. You have trails/rides within 2 hours of Denver ranging from 5000 feet in elevation to 14000.

Give me a break.
Go get a used bike cheap enough and you don't need financing fer fuckssake.
And I rode from 0-~~7000, similar range.
constant rejetting is because they wanted to rest/flog the log/schmooze/ whatever.

So some guys are always fucking around, and some guys are riding.
You don't get in 140 miles in a day if you're fucking around masturbating with jets.

And of course carbs aren't better, but CHEAP is better, and 10-15 year old bikes have carbs----how did those dinos back then manage to ride them????!!!!!

Fuckin quit beatin off.

The hand crank on a Model T worked fine too, but that didn't mean that no one wanted an electronic starter when they became available.

Some things are worth going into debt for !

Shut up, we're talking amongst friends here and don't need brainless idle chatter.

Debt for utter playthings like a dirtbike is plain stupid when there are bikes that can do way more than Grant will need for the next 15 years.

Lightweight boys get tired from altitude and poop out far sooner than the bikes do.

And Grant is a lightweight.

But John, can the older two strokes do back flips? How'm I supposed to ever one up Pastrana? smiling smiley

I have more troubles when I come down than anything else. I've spent most of my life at high altitude. I thought my head was going to explode the first time I went to Portland after 5+ years at 5000+ altitude.

Or are you talking about drinking. winking smiley

But you are right. The problem is I never have $1500-2000 laying around and I suck at saving money to buy a used bike. But that is the smart route.

Of course. A 2 stoke can be tuned to deliver power any way you want.
At 1/5 the cost
And at 1/2 the revs ----a four stroke spends half the time twirling around for no good reason and has PILES of stuff that is simply not needed like valves, cams springs chain, followers etc, all for unknown reasons.
And it only fires no and then so the MUST be revved far higher for similar output.
Junk.

Look at things by condition, even a 88 KDX in decent shape is only microscopic increments less sooper bitchin than a current bike.
It's only for fun.

Well now I just look like a real ass. I search craigslist daily, but not by the right search strings I suppose. I just always do the few models I know and dual sport so I hadn't seen that one. I should probably save over a few paychecks and get something exactly like that one.
I'd way prefer a super bitching rear beam over a dual sport though. winking smiley

This is going to get me in trouble.

I just have to remember that all those years riding Honda ATCs means I can't ride a motocycle worth a damn and I should be working to get my street XR4 put back together so I can wad it into a ball at a track day:

You know, I always wanted to start with a 200 or 250, but for the price differential it seemed a 400-450 would be a better place to start. Stoked on the KDX200 though! Thanks John.
