106* here today then a breeze came along and it dropped to 93* immediately. I never thought I would look upon 93* fondly.

All this carrying on about the heat..........out here on the cool, foggy coast it is a very nice 66 degrees. Now yesterday it was hot, might've been nearly 75. We were lounging around, toes in the sand, umbrella drinks. I just couldn't resist.

Uh, I live here because im 20 and working on my transfer degree at a CC living at my parents house as I've lived here since I was three....

I do want to transfer to San Diego though! haha

And really, there are places that are much hotter, for much longer and people get along fine... WITHOUT AC.

I had to work outside yesterday, hard labor, in 109 temps. Juuuust courted heatstroke so yeah weather tried to kill me off.. Today the plan is to go to a park and sit in a lake...

so far we've managed to keep the office around 80 today, when I left yesterday around 2:30 I believe it was at 94

yes, but some places it tries harder than others

I chose to live somewhere that typically has a moderate temperature, a lack of nasty creatures (Oregon does have rattlesnakes, but only if you go to the other undesirable part of the state) and very few natural disasters (yeah, volcanoes and earthquakes, neither of which happen often)

It was a balmy 64*F here in Ocean Shores WA today, slightly overcast,
nice breeze off the ocean...
