This will only really work if you've got plenty of room to work in, though. Inside a door, or some rear quarters with no space would be really hard to get to with this method.

I've got a 9" and 5" disc at the moment.. and don't see why you couldn't make one smaller like a 2" one on the end of a drill.

It's still work though. I haven't posted any pictures yet cause I've got another 10 hours of work to finish this one section of roof.

Ok so I got some pictures.. I'm no pro and the process is anything but fast (might have something to do with my rank amateurism).

The verdict.. yes you can get the panel good enough that a heavy primer will do the trick of the rest of it.. but man do you have to spend some time!

Unless I get a lot better/faster.. It'll probably take me 30-40 hours to do the roof.. that being said it has/had ~100 dents.

I'll need to figure out how I'm going to pull the dents I can't access the backside of..
