Not a journalist, I'm the computer/phone/fax/diesel/tire/tech guy for the paper, though.

I grew up farming, and hats were to keep your hair out of your eyes, your hair clean, the sunburn away from your face, and the "cool" part about them was if you got one with a neat/rare brand logo. Like Purina (now just known for its dog food), Case (before the merger with International), seed companies, Mountan Dew, etc..

I use to have a cap with a Pepperidge Farms patch on it. I wore it farmer style and thought I was SO fucking witty.

I think one of my favorite hats I got at LSPR a few years ago, as a perk for working. It says: "MITSUBISHI. Wake up and Drive." and it has the diamond star logo. Actually a very nice quality hat, good cloth, good stitching, very comfortable.

My favorite hat is the only one of about 20 I own that I actually bought for myself.

It says "I'm suffering from an incurable sexually transmitted disease....

CHILDREN!!!"

My kids didn't care for it too much though...

Ok, that doesn't count. You can't half ass an answer, or you get a half assed cookie. And NO ONE wants a half assed cookie.

My favorite hat was not actually mine but one of my Gramps. Similar style to the one McCarty posted. It read:

Keep Pennsylvania beautiful...STAY AT HOME

Zap zap my ass...
