I need FEMA today...I've got the refrigerator and interweb rigged up with a generator, extension cords, and bailing wire. Silly wind storms.

And I thought it was Freedom, LLC (a subsidiary of GOP, Inc.) that started up those FEMA stockyards. smiling smiley

Nice job @ FEMA guys.

Make sure you email me or call or something so I can send you the W9 forms and time cards so you can get paid.

-Oh and JVL, I saw you from a distance in your blue romper suit at the doo-woops drivers meeting. Get a haircut.

Math on why spectating rally sucks.

Time spent to get to watch rally cars.

2 hours there
+
2 hours back
+
4 hours waiting in the woods

Time spent actually watching cars:

20 cars x 11 seconds per car x 2 runs
_________________
~7.5 minutes of action.

7.5/480 = .015625

You spend 1.6% of the entire time actually watching race cars.

I can totally top this. Track invitational. 6 hours to pasco. sleep through the night, 8 hours at a track meet, 6 hours home. Ran 11.3 seconds, 23.3 seconds, and 50 seconds.

yeah.

Not sure how to respond... Either:

1) "You need to start living your life a quarter mile at a time."

or

2) "How does that action percentage compare to the activity of chasing women?"

*grin*
