Neat car there on craigslist- someone should get that for a reece car ASAP. I am looking for 4 doors...

I hate to say it but this weekend I test drove several cars and the Mercedes ML320 Turbo Diesel moved to the front of the line. I guess I am going to learn to live with looking like every other yuppie prick. I am sure it will be a hit when I drive it into burnning man this summer... (or one of my construction sites) I better make sure I am running on veggie oil when I get there. Now just looking for a 2008 or so with low miles in Black or White to buy.

Really went looking at the MB in the mind set to hate it so it is saying something that it made a good impression...

Don't worry, BMW suv drivers are the true yuppie pricks, you'll just look like someone with good taste.

You know that the Black Rock playa dust is super alkaline and will eat cars alive, right?

Wow. If I were willing to spend $10k on a car, that Mitsu would be mine! Ultimate rally video team vehicle!

I will wash it with vinegar when done... My stuff appears to been holding up fine after 3 trips to the playa - even raw steel rebar stakes that spent the week under the shower tent in damp ground.

I did pick up the yuppie prick wagen last week. So far it is working well Diesel might be 4% more costly than gas (premium) but I am managing a 16% to 22% improvement in mileage. I managed a very respectable 30 MPG driving to my boat in Anacortes this weekend from Seattle.

It sure is big, really takes some getting use to and the fun police comes on when you toss it into a corner and try to light up all 4 tires... however there is a button to cure this problem.

Odd cruising down the hwy turning 1650 RPM, this motor is all about torque.
