hood reinforcement

I still need to figure out suspension, and safety gear, and maybe getting the engine legal... but I've completely overlooked something else I want to get on immediately.

How do I make the hood strong enough for me, co-driver, and the weight of two bottles of champagne?

Carbon fiber for the hood.
High fiber for y'all...
If'n ya both pinch out a couple of Trans-Atlantic cables you'll be 40lbs lighter...

Not too much beans that just results in Gas-shocks.
