Back in my youth -a 69 273 c.i. dodge dart was what I learned car control in.


On the fire roads of Southern California, as well as dirt Mulholland before it was blocked off.

Actually I owned four different darts over the years -the aforementioned 69, another 69 with the 318, 68 with a slant six in a 67 with a slant six.

Apparently they do ice drag-racing in Sweden.

What is interesting is that there are left and right tires on each side of the car. I wonder what the wheels used are like.

Also the coil spring on the right. Chrysler pretty much perfected the drag-racing leaf spring setup in the 60s, I wonder if ice racing means they need softer springs, so they need a helper on the right.
Actually, I wonder if studs on ice don't launch just as hard as slicks on concrete.
