Someone stole my truck last night...
April 19, 2008 07:55PM
Dropped by the shop today to load the rally car up and go play at a rallycross tomorrow. Strange my truck was parked right next to the flatbed when I left last night. Gone... Probably out in the central valley by now. Really was a nice truck too, 2004 4x4 F250 turbo-diesel with only 60K miles. Now I have to go thru all the crap with the insurance company...lame.

Nope, no Lojack. It's long gone now. I just have to wait out the 15 days for the insurance and another 90days before I can claim a refund on my registration. Oh, the irony I paid up the registration Friday evening and it got stolen hours later.

The darkest corner of hell is reserved for thieves and cheating wives.

Sorry for your loss.

If using electric fuel pump(s), a hidden fuel pump switch that the thief would have to think to look for and then to find could help.

As the old saying goes: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. A smashed window and broken ignition lock is better than a lost vehicle.

It won't? Gee, golly, Clem... I sure thought it would.

Well how's this?.... A long lasting, highly toxic poison sprayed on the door handles. The outer shell of the car electified with a lethal amperage/voltage charge. Mines planted around the vehicle. A castle surrounding the mines. A moat surrounding the castle.

If you got mines around the truck, how are you ever going to drive it away again?
