A suicide bomber gets in a car accident enroute to his target, and gets trapped inside his car...

I can't give you back the 4 minutes you seemingly lost. (although I've never seen a suicide bomber before and was surprised by the relative non fanatical appearance of the young man, most likely brainwashed and taken advantage of).

BUT I can enhance the next 3 minutes and 18 seconds of your life in an effort to even out the 4 minutes you lost :

Absolutely !

It's a shame that recognition for the troops is so often overlooked, and people are too busy playing the blame game of the mistakes of being in Iraq.

The torture of the dog in that video has been haunting me since I saw it a couple of days ago. I can't find the words to express my disgust at the people that did it. Hopefully their karma will get them.

A friend of mine was in Afghanistan (twice) and was in Iraq in the initial invasion and twice more after that and is now a privately contracted gun man making like $120K as a bodyguard over there. His stories will make any of the shit you see on the news sound pretty candy coated. Saw a pretty cool story on Current TV this weekend about our soldiers trying to "win the kids, you'll win the parents." They were hanging out with youth on the street, laughing, joking, playing and such. It was good.

A friend of mine got back from Iraq about 4 months ago. Grant no one hangs out with kids on the street anymore. At least that's what he says. Can't trust anyone. The Iraqies had respect for the tanks (my friends a tank driver) when he got there, in less then a month they had figured out how to blow up the tanks. His group almost lost every tank in the first week. And this was after the end of major military operations.
