suggestions for a "new" car, my XXX got all smooshed up -- Redux

Okay since I was jealous of all this new vehicle talk I thought well what the heck...

Same story, girl turned left in front of me while at highway speed (~50 MPH when I spotted her) as such my '06 tacoma is done (pics later--after I talk to the insurance adjuster winking smiley )

This is my work vehicle, must be AWD or 4WD.(I'm the snow driving Biatch for my company) Leaning towards a hatch but not averse to another truck. No sedans or coupes.

Gas mileage is a bigger concern than it was two years ago so .

Audi quattro ?
VW 4 motion?
Subie ?
SX4 Crossover?
Another Taco ?

Looking for real world wisdom from real drivers.

Thanks,

Dan

the cx-9 is hot in that black cherry color, but I don't think that's going to help your decision much tongue sticking out smiley

Get a few year old Audi AllRoad... the 2.7TT is a sweet motor and makes over 300hp wihtout fuss.
You can get a controller for the air suspension and raise and lower the car like 4-5 inches with a push of a button.

It's on the A6 wagon platform so it's roomy and comfortable. At least go check one out.

Yeah as long as the turbo's don't puke. Yeah gotta pull the engine to swap those out. You don't want to pay for that outside of warrenty...

Oh and same goes for the "fancy" suspension

My girl's A4 with Torsen does amazingly well in the snow. Haven't had a chance to see how the A3's Haldex does though.
