OK, last night I took the rally volvo out for a little shakedown run ( went to the store for a 6 pack), got home, everything was working, great. So this morning I'm heading to work and there is a bumber sitting by the side of the road down at the bottom of the hill. Hey thats a volvo bumper! that would make a good spare, wait a minute, thats my bumper...

remember to tighten those bolts, boys and girls. And thanks to whoever pushed it to the side of the road.

You didn't hear a Volvo bumper falling off your car? Geez, seems like you would have felt the impact of it hitting the ground...

What is it with bumpers and rallycars, I lost mine twice at wildwest and both times I figured "well that's that, time to go to the jy and get another" and both times the righteous awesome sweep found it and brought it back. Same thing happened to Kosmodes but only once....

When I did Rocky Mtn Rally in 1988 I tore the rear bumper off my Ascona on a snowbank. Seeing as how that was the only 1980 Opel Ascona rear bumper in North America I really wanted it back. I checked with the stage crew and they said they gave it to so and so. go ask them. I checked with them and they said we thought it was Tim O'Neil's, go check with them. It took until after the awards ceremony to finally track it down.
