One ring is going to be ok.. the other might be saved but is distorded pretty badly. Cutting a grill and drilling holes for the tabs and installing the rings are a fucking pain, but what can you do.

Wow, they must have dropped another box from a pretty good height right on it to intrude that far!! Sucky

Combination of shitty packing and rough handling. Here's hoping the seller has a conscience and gives me back most if not all of the money I paid for it.
It's funny how you will get literally unbreakable things packed in boxes 10x the size of the object or original box and then you get crap like this. Andrew M Onterrible 30ish |

I bought a set of Euro headlights and paid extra for insurance from Germany. The fucker didn't insure them and one of the lens broke. I emailed him and told him that and that the invoice showed no insurance bought for the shipment and that a workable solution for me was for him to simply send me one replacement glass (he sells one to two pairs of these a week on ebay still!) He cut off contact though and never returned my emails and it was beyond Paypal's contest a charge period. I found a spare set of lens' though for $10 + 30 shipping so now I have one spare anyhow. But anyhow, sorry to hear about your grill. I was going to guess a Volvo. Good luck.

The seller didn't really offer shipping options and I was just glad we were communicating OK. I've had some difficulty before with Swedes who don't speak a lick of English.. (had to get swedish friends to help me out sentence by sentence). I want him to give me most if not all of my money back that I paid for the grille.. I can eat the shipping costs. He did such a bad job of shipping it that it wouldn't have made it to the next city without damage. There's no way he's got another one to ship.. Just another setback in a 4 year project. What is the grille made of?
There are some restoration shops that could do a remarkable job of repairing it if it is aluminum. Even 90% passable if it's plain old pot metal like most older American cars had. Pete Remner Cleveland, Ohio 1984 RX-7 (rallycross thing) 1978 Silence is golden, but duct tape is silver. |

The extra light pots are attached with tabs. So you can just cut the bars in a circle, drill holes and attach pots. Thanks for the idea though. Andrew M Onterrible 30ish |
