Background: I was invited by some punk rock friends from my hometown to come and bowl with them at the National Punk Rock Bowling tournament this weekend in Vegas. This is the story, and if it's not off topic, I don't know what is. We were one team of 168. It was estimated that for this weekend approximately 1300 punk rock bands, teams, and friends came to Vegas for the tournament.

We drank a lot. I drank an absolutely uncountable number of bourbon and ginger ales, and Miller High Life's. I was drunk for five days straight. We took 44th out of 168 teams. Made alot of new friends. A few new contacts.

I'm sorry but I seem to be suffering from ADD and can't make it past the low altitude flying part.

Can you do a Readers Digest version just mentioning the highlights ?

Hardly Hunter S Thompson but basically the same idea, go to Vegas for some event - do the event but mostly get fucked up (drinking in this case) piss some people off have a good time. Somehow live though the expriance and make it home alive.

I do not drink much but have had some very odd nights at Goth/Punk clubs.
