Stainless bar?
September 15, 2010 12:56AM
Anyone happen to know where I might be able to get ~.063 (1/16)" x 1" 304 stainless flat bar? 1/8x1 seems common, and Mcmaster Carr only seems to have it in 36" chunks.

that's more like sheet metal thickness...

16gauge is about 1/16", right?

Same website has 'stainless bar', but min. thickness is .125"

Yeah, more or less, however, upon thinking more about what I'm using it for, I think 1/8 would be a better choice. Thanks though!

Awesome thanks Derek! I'll check their pricing with Online Metals. I think 1/8 should be good.
