Hey, a friendly suggestion: spare us this inane email conservative claptrap things which are not funny, just insulting.

I fucking produce metal things and have all my life since I left school: 40 years.

looking at the whole world and not some fantasy world of chain email from Freerepublic and such places, its a simple fact than most people who make things in the industrialised world are good wholesome old fashioned Socialists.

I've seen this exact same "funny" thing repeatedly and the only thing funny is in those cases that those posting it were people that didn't produce anything.
And in some cases, never had produced or made anything in their entire adult lives.
And yet one particularly disgusting schmuck faithfully repeats the drivel he hears repeatedly on the AM radio and vomits up drivel that "I'm a producer!".


NOTE: repairing things produced by other people is not producing things.

So please Mike, yopu have a million places like the various Merkur forums with uncritical repetition of insults to those of us who DO produce and HAVE produced are welcomed by a sickening proportion of the active members.

It seems that I have encountered in my life more soft Conservatives, you know, soft--overweight, white puffy un-scarred hands and fingers, double/tripple/no chin.
Calling Progressives girly men when, IN MY LIMITED EXPERIENCE virtually EVERY self described Conservative I have encountered is soft, whines and bitches endlessly about things of no real concern of effect on them---always talking only in extreme generalities and abstract theoreticals---and always claiming to be an oppressed minority, makes me think they aren't 'girlie men" but not men either.
And in general, they have no spine. No morals

Rather they're like 10 or at the most 12 year old nerd-boys who hate anybody who is not as mentally and socially retarded as they are and who makes humor which is not funny but just insulting---victim humor. de-personalising, de-humanising.

I am neither a liberal nor a conservative. I think and form my own conclusions. The original post was dumb.

Really??? The DooWop thread went south on its own, nothing to do with you. Quit being so sensitive.

The joke you posted wasn't particularly funny, at least not funny here. As has been pointed out by several members. Many of us have been friends, enemies, competitors, compatriots for many years. As you may have seen JV and myself bump heads once in a while. Doesn't affect our personal relationship. I can call him or he can call here. Such is life.

In the forum world one must always be aware that political or ethnic jokes will not be viewed the same by all parties. I dislike being labeled also, neither conservative or liberal, Dem or Rep. It just isn't that hard to look at an issue or belief and sort it out for ones self. I guess its nearly as important to know why you believe something as what you believe. If you vote a party line because your family has for 5 generations, that might be not so good....

John was pretty polite. I think we all get enough of the email chain letters and forwards. Leave if you must but not really necessary.
