i have left the USA for the first time! (temporarily)

Yea i know whats nothing impressive for you classy, jet setters on here, but i feel the country for the first time in my life. Frankly, not by too much of my choice, nor was it to a place of my choosing (read: i got deployed) BUT its interesting since im in saudi arabia. I spend most of my day working around locals which is interesting honestly. Arabic is very different language and the islamic culture i actually find rather interesting. That said, its dirty as hell and the air is about as polluted as the exhaust of my rally car... Nothing perfect i suppose. At least the cola is made with sugar...

Just make sure to avoid the beer.

i plan on buying a video camera from the BX and put of video, especially in town. Its funny how westernized it is (less those in poverty). The commericals for ford are exactly like the ones in the states. Only in their white garb (and no women...). They have a krispy kreme, a taco bell. Some really nice stores. But then there are some nasty areas. Country is rather polluted though. Guess its the price for .60 cent gasoline.

I bet they don't mess up their gas with that corn ethanol BS...
