Here you can read about what spending $100,000 on school should get you over 20 years...

I actually spent the time with salary surveys for my particular field to determine the increased earnings from a Master's and Bachelors.
Two months into my Master's Program I left the job I was at and had an immediate $10k annual bump just for my MS. When I left my last job I was holding steady what a MS degree will pay and now have 7 years experience. However, if I stay at the MS level I can expect 3-5% increases forever is about it.
If I continue on with my PhD I will have an immediate bump of about $25-30k potential. Senior Biostatisticians are nearly always PhD level so that will open that door for me.
Considering I'm now getting paid to finish my degree and they want me to stay on for at least 3 more years and finish my PhD with all expenses paid I think that's partly a no brainer. Especially considering the baby coming in June and the flexibility of a professional student schedule.

My sister got her MBA at DU because they would pay for it as part of her full ride volleyball scholarship.
